Course Description

Alas, the time has come to renew your wilderness first responder certification. Instead of taking a class that drones on about what you already know, what if you could re-certify with a class that adjusts to your skill level? What if your recertification could be an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of wilderness medicine? Our WFR recertification course always includes realistic simulations that give you back your edge to ensure that you can still perform under stress. All responsible providers understand the need to prevent atrophy by taking a refresher course. We're offering a class focused on continued skill development and hands on training, so that you may continue to develop on your own after the class. Course includes: - Patient assessment skill practice - Review signs/ symptoms/ treatments of major illness and injury patterns - In depth lectures on special topics relevant to the group - Opportunities to collaborate with other trained WFR's, guides, & instructors - Psychomotor/ general knowledge testing to the highest standards in the industry Our mission is to have every student leave class having received the highest quality responder training available. The Cordillera Intl. WFR- recertification class is no different. Certifications are provided by our partners at the Mountain Training Network, and are recognized around the world. For those who need it, our certifications also have reciprocity with NOLS but we think you'll want to stick with us from now on!
